The Boob Tube

Cameron & Cole watching the Imagination Movers. Apparently the Movers have universal appeal, whether age 6 mos. or 2 years.

6 Months Old

It's hard to believe Cole is 6 months old today. He's been a good baby and is growing fast. Today he was able to support his considerable weight on all fours, which if any of you have ever held him, you know it's quite an accomplishment!

Children's Museum

Harper daydreaming while Cameron jams on the instruments.

"Hey, can't you read the sign?"

"You people need to sit down and shut up or I'm going to turn this tugboat around!"

Apparently you don't need a license to drive at the Children's Museum.

Wow, you're a lot bigger than Tuttie!

It's a Cole's Life

I think these pictures are pretty self explanatory. It's good to be Cole.

Newest member of the McCracken Gang

The McCracken Gang recently held an initiation ceremony for their newest member. The hazing was kept to a minimum due to the presence of their respective Mommy's.

Is it mandatory for kids under the age of 6 to instinctively wear shoes on the wrong feet?

"Ponch" Rydberg

We couldn't decide if Cameron is dreaming about trying out for the 2027 reincarnation of CHiPs or the Chippendale's.

Brew Crew

I went to Milwaukee with some friends last week to watch the Brewers lose to the Twins. When I got home, Cameron wore his new improvised "Mike Cameron" Brewers attire. Aunt Nancy couldn't find a real Mike Cameron jersey so she devised this ensemble. It's a pretty good match if you ask me.

Let's get ready to rumble!

Poor Cole has already absorbed his first attempted beating by his brother. To the little guy's credit, he didn't cry much, but the two marks on his head are evidence Cameron will wish he didn't leave as I'm sure Cole will look at this picture someday and seek vengeance. Cam didn't exactly give us any indication he was going to maim Cole. He pretended he was going to give him a kiss so that we would let our guard down and then he exacted his blow with the added scratch for good measure. Needless to say, this tactic won't work again. To be continued...............

My two sons

One is looking like an angel and the other is looking like a redneck sitting on his porch (substitute the sucker for an Old Milwaukee and you get the picture).

Cameron & Cole

Superman

Cameron has been enjoying his new pool and eating popsicles in the backyard. The superman towel is very fitting for him. He thinks he can do anything (and is often trying).

Cole Christopher Rydberg

Cole was born on June 8, 2009 at 7:51 PM at St. John's Hospital in Maplewood. He was 7 lbs. 4.2 oz. and 20 3/4" long. He has been a good baby and isn't fazed by his brother's shenanigan's.

Buon Giorno!

Cameron spent some time at Aunt Dar's house the other day. Apparently it was a little brisk outside and he forgot to bring a hat, so Dar improvised. Unfortunately for him, he looks like a little old Italian lady raking some leaves. Bellissimo!

Cameron Jr.

We haven't decided on a name yet, but I've been pulling for Cameron Jr.

Happy Easter!

Cameron wishes everyone a Happy Easter! He received a package in the mail today from Great Grandma & Grandpa Birrenbach. As you can see in the picture, it's a duck and when you press it's foot, it plays the chicken dance. We have been unable to pry it out of his hands without a fight. This has become normal behavior around here lately. So, basically what we're saying is we think he's entering his terrible two's a little early, and as a result, we've been trying to avoid "melt downs" as much as possible. We call him Mr. Independent. In the next set of pics, Cameron enjoyed playing outside today and went for a walk with Tracy. Unfortunately, the shades didn't stay on long enough to get a picture. Looking cool for the ladies isn't a priority yet.
