Will you people just leave me alone?

I'm sure you've all heard about Cameron's trip to the hospital last week. He's doing great and seems to be 100% back to normal. However, if any of you have ever thought to yourself, "I wonder what a 15 month old looks like after a drug binge", take a close look at the first picture. This was taken right before we took him home on Thursday. He was a little tired for a couple days, but he's back to his old self now. Unfortunately for him though, I think Tracy is suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. It took us almost 15 months to get her to loosen up after his stay in the NICU following his pre-mature birth and now we're going to have to start over again. As you can see in the second picture, "the taking of the temperature" has become a regular ritual around here. To his credit, he doesn't fight about it. He simply grits his teeth and squints. I think he's realized it's just easier to humor her.

How do you sit on a chair???

I guess this post is an addendum to the last posting. I previously stated that Cameron was learning how to sit in his new chair to watch TV. Well, I think I was overly optimistic with his progress. These pictures show how Tracy found him watching TV while she was cleaning the floor in the kitchen. While I can say that I give him a A for effort, I will have to admit that he's getting an F in execution. The whole point in buying the chair was so that he didn't stand 12 inches from the screen to preserve his eyesight. Now it seems that he is content not standing too close to the TV, but the result might be permanent brain damage from a fall off of said chair.

Santa came......

It's been awhile since I've posted, but as you might have guessed from the title, Santa did indeed come. In addition to the many wonderful gifts that Cameron received, Tracy used some of his Christmas bounty to get him his own chair. Cameron was developing a bad habit of standing directly in front of the TV, so we decided to try to break this habit early. The chair seems to be working, but he occasionally still needs to be reminded what the chair is actually for.
